The owner of this house Richard can not do enough for you. He is very welcoming and helpful with advice. He cooks a superb breakfast - excellent accomodation spotlessly clean and inviting throughout. The history of this house and Richard Demonbreun ancestors is well worth looking up. If you are in Nashville and want the the very best a B&B can offer - Stay here!

Great place for a rehearsal dinner!

We were in Nashville in October for my son's wedding. I checked out a number of places-bars, hotel, restaurants-and none of them matched in terms of affordability, access and atmosphere like the TD House. It is a beautifully maintained historic home in a residential neighborhood about 2 miles from downtown. After the craziness of downtown, it was so serene and intimate. We had a party of 35 but could easily have accommodated 50.The food was home cooked, delicious and ample. We ordered the beverages that we wanted and Richard bought them at cost. He also set up a screen, projector and a microphone for speeches. Every member of our party raved about what an appropriate location we choose. Since it is a residential neighborhood, if your guests drive, there is a valet parking fee. Instead, we got a mini bus to pick us up from the hotel and others ubered-very convenient

Great place!

This is a wonderful historic house with fireplaces in every bedroom. We were four couples coming from a convention in Louisville and wanted to spend a few days in Nashville for fun. This place is just a short Uber ride to downtown. Owner is very accommodating...even took us to the airport! Great home cooked breakfast everyday to start your day what ever time of the morning you wanted! Very relaxing place with a game room and a special quiet spot to watch tv and/or visit with each other. I am not normally a B&B type person and was not too sure when I found out we were staying at a B&B but this place is great! I love the feeling of staying in what was once someone's private mansion and wondering what it must have been like living there in the era it was first build.

'Southern Hospitality' at it's finest!

My wife and I stayed "at home" with Richard at his incredible B&B for our 30th Anniversary weekend traveling from Ohio and it was the 'hilight of the trip'! Yes -- even with all the other great and fun things we did in Nashville -- we enjoyed our special stay with Richard at TTDH the most!! Richard's breakfasts are absolutely delicious (he is truly a 'culinary stud-muffin', lol) and we enjoyed talking with him on so many different topics. The ability Richard has to make total strangers feel so 'at home' is a sprcial gift and we are so blessed to have stayed with him at his beautiful home on this special weekend of our lives!! Thank you Counselor Demonbreun!!
