An excellent place to stay, a beautiful historic home run by a very gracious and accommodating host. The home and furnishings are elegant, but not stuffy and the location is excellent. I did not drive but used Uber and Lyft to travel around - trust me, if you've never been to Nashville you do NOT want to be driving around town yourself! There are so many excellent pictures of the Inn on this site - all of them very accurate and I will add a few myself. My room was lovely and all amenities needed were provided. The bed was very comfortable and top-notch linens. As for the care and treatment by the host, Richard, I can only repeat what others have said: very eager to please in a comfortable way. I can give you a personal experience that says it all: I arrived from the airport with a fairly serious leg injury (sustained at the airport) and needed medical attention. Richard promptly took me to the hospital, picked me up afterwards and had my prescription filled. Lots of luck getting that kind of service and care at a "regular" hotel!
Beautiful and comfortable. Plenty of charm and character. Immaculately clean. Terrific Host. Close to Downtown Nashville and local attractions. Inground pool and hot tub a big plus. Highly recommend. You will be impressed.
We stayed at The Timothy Demonbreun House for 3 nights in The Merlot Room. Richard, the owner, was as pleasant and helpful as can be and made us feel so welcomed. The B&B has a wonderful front and side porch perfect for relaxing or reading a book. The made-to-order breakfasts each morning were tasty and bountiful and the coffee awaiting us each morning was delicious. Can't go wrong staying here as it was quite convenient to everywhere in Nashville. A most pleasant stay!!!
Our trip consisted of eight gals from college who were celebrating the year we turn 50. Richard was fabulous to work with in planning our stay, and his mansion is gorgeous. Our group was large and so we stayed in all of the rooms. The entire property was spotless and beautiful, the beds were very comfy, and Richard's food was delicious. He prepared an evening meal for us for the first night of our stay that was terrific, and his breakfasts for the remaining mornings of our three night stay were wonderful. Even though Richard hosted two lovely evening events separate from our group at the B&B, we felt completely catered to, and all of our needs were more than met. I would not hesitate to stay here again, and I would high recommend this B&B. It was a short uber ride from every place we went all weekend. Thank you, Richard, for making our girls' trip so special!
As seasoned B&B guests/travelers, the TD House raised our high standard of excellence for travel accommodations. The beautiful, historical home is conveniently located close to downtown entertainment, yet nestled in a quiet neighborhood which allows easy access in and out, and safe, off street parking. From the moment we entered, Mr. Demonbreun demonstrated Southern hospitality at its finest. He offered a variety of refreshments and helped carry our bags to our room, where we slept on extremely comfortable beds, tidied each day, and supplied with freshly laundered towels and sundries. At a time convenient to us each morning, Mr. Demonbreun served individual breakfasts to order. From perfectly scrambled eggs and ham, bacon, and/or sausage, to a variety of fresh fruit, yogurt, waffles, pancakes, English muffins or toast, Mr. D cooked and delivered with the finesse of a professional chef. He made himself available to answer our plethora of tourist questions, guiding us to unique restaurants, entertainment venues, and quaint countryside villages that made our stay in Nashville memorable and unforgettable. Don’t hesitate to book a stay the next time you plan to visit Music City!
