A five (5) day cancellation notice is required on guest room reservations in order to receive a refund so that substitute reservations are possible. If more than one (1) guest room is reserved in a “block” a ten (10) day notice is required; however, if less than the required notice is given and the rooms are re-booked before the original check-in date a refund will be provided. Also, a 25% cancellation fee is assessed on all deposits/payments made to confirm reservations provided the requisite notice is provided by email to email@example.com.
Check-out is required no later than 11:00 a.m. unless otherwise agreed to so that incoming guests can be accommodated for our check-in which begins at 1:00 p.m. As a courtesy to the owners and guests “Quiet Hours” are in affect each evening from 10:30 p.m. until 8:00 a.m. (which includes closure of the 3rd floor Guest/Game room if available and not booked for accommodations) to insure a restful night’s sleep for all. You may, however, return to the mansion as late as you wish (or as early in the early morning) after enjoying an evening out on the town. We truly want your visit to Nashville to be exceptional in every way!
Also, remember that we occasionally host small dinners and/or private weddings on the 1st floor only and outside by the pool and carriage house in the evenings ending no later than 10:30 p.m. Privacy gates are closed and event guests are not permitted up the Grand or Servant Staircases where all guest rooms excepting the Cabernet Room are located . These special events are quite lovely and do not disturb persons staying at the B&B, as they are usually out on the town enjoying dinner and/or live entertainment for the evening. Please let us know if this is a concern at the time your reservation is confirmed.
Note Concerning Other Visitors: To insure the House remains private for all guests staying at the Bed and Breakfast, outside visitors may not be invited in and are not permitted on the property unless they are attending a special event booked at the mansion. These event guests are limited to use of the first floor/pool/carriage house common areas during the four (4) hour event period as scheduled by the hosts and must leave the premises at the close of the event.
